Services and Fees

Fees for the services below are based on length of the appointment. A typical appointment lasts 45-60 minutes and the fees range from $85-$120. A scholarship, coupon, or insurance coverage may be available in certain cases. Ask us.

Medication Therapy Management

I will review all of your medications and we will discuss all of the issues surrounding your therapy as well as answer any questions you may have. This usually starts with you furnishing me a list of your medicines either by phone, email, or in person. I will conduct the review and then we will discuss the issues during the session. My review will consist of but not be limited to the following

 Drug interaction check: I will review all of your prescription and non-prescription medicines to make sure there are no adverse drug interactions that need to be addressed.


Drug nutrient depletion check: Some prescription and nonprescription medicines cause a loss of essential elements such as potassium, magnesium, B-12 and others. We will show you what to do about that if it is an issue.


Side effect review: I will tell you what to expect and what to do about potential side effects.

Dosing advice: Do you know what time of day to take your medicine? Is your schedule confusing and hard to adhere to?


Therapy rationale and current guidelines: Are you taking the recommended medicines for your condition? Medical societies issue guidelines or recommendations of the treatment of certain conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, cholesterol (heart disease) and others.


Written report for you and your healthcare providers: If you were referred by your health care provider we furnish a written report to the office and you will also get one.

Diabetes Self Management: I am a Pharmacist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and am able to give guidance on most issues surrounding the self-management of diabetes including but not limited to the following:

Diabetes Self management general training and coaching: including all areas of knowledge recommended by the American Diabetes Association and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. 


Geriatric pharmacy issues: Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist capable of addressing medication related problems in older adults.


Non-prescription therapies: There are a number of non-prescription products recognized as beneficial in the treatment and prevention of certain complications of diabetes. Learn what else you should have in your medicine cabinet.

Nutritional Supplement Counseling: We will discuss various nutritional supplements that are recommended for you based on your individual needs and desires.

We will discuss your needs and work up a suggested plan for you.This discussion will include a review of any nutrient depletion issues you may have as well as the generally recommended supplements you may need. This is all based on scientific evidence and guidelines from national organizations.
